Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal to sign Manchester City goalkeeper Stefan Ortega for up to £500,000. The 33-year-old German, currently third-choice at City, will help cover for John Victor, who is out for the season with a knee injury.
Forest are also targeting Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi, initially on loan with an option to buy. The 26-year-old Italian has 33 caps for his country and has played 19 games for Inter this season.
Ortega has made 56 appearances for City since joining in 2022, including a key role in their 2024 Premier League title win. Forest, currently 17th in the Premier League and in the Europa League play-offs, have also signed Napoli striker Lorenzo Lucca on loan.
