Sam Kerr scored twice as Chelsea Women boosted their Champions League hopes with a dominant win over Everton Women.

Kerr’s brace took her to 63 Women’s Super League goals for Chelsea, equalling the club record set by Fran Kirby. She opened the scoring early and added another just after half-time to put Chelsea back in control.

Although Yuka Momiki briefly levelled with a stunning long-range strike, Chelsea pulled away in the second half with further goals from Ellie Carpenter and Erin Cuthbert.

The win moves Chelsea four points clear in the race for Champions League qualification, strengthening their position as the season nears its conclusion.
