Unai Emery has become the fastest manager to reach 100 wins with Aston Villa F.C. after their victory over Lille OSC in the UEFA Europa League last-16 first leg.
The Spaniard reached the milestone in 181 games since taking charge in October 2022, giving him the best win rate in the club’s history at 55.2%. Emery is also aiming to win the Europa League for a record fifth time.
His achievement beats the previous club record set by former manager Ron Saunders, who needed four seasons to reach 100 wins.
Emery’s success has helped turn Villa into a strong team both in England and in Europe since his arrival.
