Rory McIlroy says he feels confident ahead of the Genesis Invitational at Riviera Country Club, aiming for his first win at the event.
The world number two tees off Thursday alongside Tommy Fleetwood and Collin Morikawa, who recently won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. McIlroy tied for 14th at Pebble Beach last week, hitting an impressive final-round 64, and says he’s shaken off some early-season rust while building confidence ahead of defending his Masters title in April.
