Bayern Munich, Bundesliga leaders, were held to a 2-2 draw at Hamburg, marking their second league game in a row without a win.
Hamburg took the lead in the 34th minute when Fabio Vieira, on loan from Arsenal, scored a penalty after Joshua Kimmich fouled Nicolai Remberg. Eight minutes later, England captain Harry Kane equalised with a brilliant turn and finish, his 22nd league goal of the season.
Just after halftime, Hamburg went ahead again as half-time substitute Luis Diaz scored from Michael Olise’s clever assist. But Luka Vuskovic headed in a powerful equaliser from William Mikelbrencis’ cross to make it 2-2.
Late in the game, Vieira nearly scored his second, but Bayern’s Alphonso Davies cleared off the line. Despite the draw, Bayern remain top of the Bundesliga, nine points ahead of Borussia Dortmund, while Hamburg sit 13th.
