Man Utd chiefs ponder options for Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United chiefs are weighing up what to do with fullback Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Manchester Evening News says Wan-Bissaka has only played four minutes this season and last started on April 9. The 25-year-old was informed before last season ended he was free to leave.

Due to a lack of takers for Wan-Bissaka, United never advanced with a potential move for Barcelona right-back Sergino Dest, who eventually joined AC Milan on loan.

Should Wan-Bissaka secure a mid-season transfer, United have the option to recall Ethan Laird from his season-long loan at Queens Park Rangers. Laird, 21, has started 13 times for the Championship's fourth-placed side.

The United academy is expected to arrange loans for certain members in need of senior football before the winter window closes.
