Russian teenager Mirra Andreeva reached her first Grand Slam final with a commanding 6-1, 6-3 victory over Ukraine's Marta Kostyuk at the French Open.
The 19-year-old, who was a semi-finalist in Paris last year, produced an impressive display to book her place in Saturday's final, where she will face either fellow Russian Diana Shnaider or Poland's Maja Chwalinska.
Andreeva becomes the fourth-youngest woman to reach the Roland Garros final in the past 30 years and is now one win away from becoming one of the youngest first-time Grand Slam champions of the century.
As has been customary since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Kostyuk did not participate in a pre-match photo with her Russian opponent, and the players did not shake hands after the match.
