The Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed that the Remo Stars Stadium will host the first leg of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifying clash between the Falconets and Malawi women's U-20 team.
There had been confusion ahead of the fixture, with Malawi claiming that the Confederation of African Football initially scheduled the match for the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena.
However, the NFF secured CAF’s approval on Thursday night to stage the match at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
