Arne Slot has said he expects to remain in charge of Liverpool FC next season despite growing speculation over his future.
Speaking ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Aston Villa, Slot said:
“I have every reason to believe I will be the Liverpool manager next season.”
He added that preparations for the 2026/27 campaign are already underway and that he is directly involved in transfer discussions and summer planning.
The comments come after a difficult season for Liverpool, with supporters questioning the team’s performances after failing to challenge strongly for major trophies. Reports suggest the club hierarchy still backs Slot and expects him to continue.
