Daniel Levy, the former chairman of Tottenham Hotspur, has reportedly admitted he never anticipated the club would be involved in a relegation battle during his tenure.
According to reports, Levy reflected on Spurs’ recent struggles, suggesting that while he expected challenges in competing for trophies and Champions League qualification, the idea of the club fighting to stay in the Premier League was far beyond his expectations when he first took charge.
Tottenham’s inconsistent form in recent seasons has raised concerns among supporters, with managerial changes and fluctuating performances contributing to uncertainty around the club’s long-term direction.
Despite this, Spurs remain focused on stabilising results and rebuilding momentum, with club leadership continuing to back plans aimed at restoring competitiveness at the top end of English football.
