Sale Sharks hooker Nathan Jibulu has been banned for six weeks for biting Will Hobson during their match against Harlequins.
The incident happened late in Sale’s Champions Cup win, and although the offence could have led to a 12-week ban, it was reduced to six weeks due to his guilty plea, remorse, and clean record.
Sale Sharks will now be without Jibulu for upcoming matches, adding to their injury concerns ahead of their quarter-final clash with Leinster.
