Michael Carrick says no final decision has been made on Marcus Rashford’s future, leaving the door open for a possible return to Manchester United next season.
Rashford is currently on loan at Barcelona, who have the option to sign him permanently for a set fee. However, Carrick made it clear that nothing has been agreed yet, and a decision will be made at a later stage.
The England forward still has time left on his Manchester United contract, meaning a return to Old Trafford remains a real possibility if Barcelona decide not to complete the deal.
Carrick added that, as things stand, his focus is on the current squad, but decisions regarding loan players like Rashford will be sorted in due course.
