Stan Moody made a brilliant Crucible debut as he moved into a 6-3 lead over 2024 world champion Kyren Wilson in the World Championship first round.
The 19-year-old Englishman started strongly with an 84 break, quickly building a 3-0 lead before Wilson fought back to 3-2.
Moody responded in style with two centuries, including breaks of 110 and 101, to regain control of the match and finish the session strongly.
Wilson took the final frame to reduce the gap, but Moody still holds a strong advantage heading into the next session, needing four more frames to secure a famous win.
