Marco Rose has agreed to become the new manager of AFC Bournemouth, replacing Andoni Iraola at the end of the season.
Rose will take over on a three-year contract after Iraola confirmed he will leave when his deal expires. The German coach beat other candidates, including Kieran McKenna and Iñigo Pérez, to the role.
The 49-year-old has managed clubs like RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and Red Bull Salzburg, winning league titles and cups during his career.
Bournemouth said they are excited to welcome Rose, but their current focus remains on finishing the season strongly as they push for a possible European spot.
