FC Midtjylland midfielder Alamara Djabi is in stable condition after being seriously injured in a stabbing incident in Denmark.
The 19-year-old was attacked in the town of Herning and initially placed in critical condition, undergoing emergency surgery.
The club confirmed he has since had further treatment, is now stable, and has woken from an induced coma, recovering under medical care.
Djabi, who joined from Benfica’s academy, has made a few senior appearances and also spent time on loan in Portugal.
