FC Barcelona took a big step toward the La Liga title with a solid win over Getafe CF, strengthening their position at the top of the table.
Fermin Lopez gave Barcelona the lead just before half-time after a smart assist from Pedri. The hosts controlled much of the game but had to stay alert as Getafe pushed for an equaliser in the second half while chasing European qualification.
Marcus Rashford, who started on the bench, came on after the hour mark and made the game safe with a composed finish from a counter-attack set up by Robert Lewandowski.
The win puts Barcelona 11 points clear of rivals Real Madrid, leaving them in a strong position to secure a second straight La Liga title with just a few games left.
