Emily Coubrough, back row for Glasgow Warriors, will make her Scotland debut in Saturday’s Six Nations opener against Wales at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
Coubrough is one of four uncapped players in Sione Fukofuka’s squad, alongside prop Demi Swann, second row Holland Bogan, and scrum-half Rianna Darroch.
The team has gone through changes since last year’s World Cup, with retirements from Caity Mattinson, Lisa Cockburn, and Jade Konkel, and several key players injured.
Prop Leah Bartlett will earn her 50th cap, with experienced front row teammates Elliann Clarke and Lana Skeldon. In the back row, captain Rachel Malcolm and Alex Stewart flank Coubrough.
Leia Brebner-Holden starts at scrum-half, with Helen Nelson outside her, and Meryl Smith and Emma Orr forming the centre partnership. Wing Shona Campbell will also earn her first cap since 2022.
