Confederation of African Football president Patrice Motsepe says he welcomes and even encourages any corruption investigation into the organisation.
This comes after Senegal called for an investigation when they were stripped of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations title, which was then awarded to Morocco. Senegal has appealed the decision at the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
Motsepe said CAF will fully cooperate with any investigation and take action if corruption is found, stressing he has zero tolerance for it.
The controversy started after Senegal players walked off during the Afcon final in protest over a late penalty decision. The situation has since caused a crisis of confidence in African football leadership.
