Celtic captain Callum McGregor says the team still have “the edge” in the Scottish Premiership title race, despite trailing leaders Heart of Midlothian.
Celtic are currently third in the table, three points behind Hearts and two behind Rangers, with just five games left to decide the title.
McGregor insists Celtic’s experience as reigning champions gives them belief, but says they must still “earn the right” to win the league by performing in their remaining matches.
He also praised interim manager Martin O’Neill for stabilising the team during a difficult season and getting strong performances from the squad after a turbulent managerial period.
McGregor added that while experience helps, it will ultimately come down to consistency and results in the final run-in.
