Celtic moved level on points with leaders Heart of Midlothian after a hard-fought win over Falkirk, inspired by a standout performance from Daizen Maeda.
Maeda scored twice, including an early opener created by his relentless pressing, before adding a late goal to seal the victory. Kieran Tierney also found the net with a powerful strike before half-time to give Celtic control.
Falkirk proved difficult opponents and pulled one back through Kyrell Wilson, setting up a tense finish. However, Celtic held firm, with Maeda’s second goal easing the pressure late on.
The win lifts Celtic level with Hearts in the title race, keeping the pressure on with only a few games remaining in what is shaping up to be a tight finish.
