Barcelona have complained to UEFA about a “grave lack of VAR intervention” in their 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid.
Barcelona say they were wrongly denied a penalty in the second half when Atletico defender Marc Pubill handled the ball, and they believe the Video Assistant Referee should have stepped in.
The club claims the decision and VAR inaction affected the outcome of the match, and they are asking UEFA to investigate and review the refereeing process.
Atletico were already leading at the time and went on to win the Champions League quarter-final first leg.
