Travis Kelce will return for another season with the Kansas City Chiefs, who have also agreed a deal to sign Kenneth Walker III.
Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl winner, will enter his 14th NFL season after reportedly agreeing to a one-year deal worth up to $15m. The veteran tight end has spent his entire career with the Chiefs and turned down bigger offers from other teams to stay in Kansas City.
The Chiefs have also boosted their attack by signing running back Walker to a reported three-year deal worth up to $45m. Walker, who previously played for the Seattle Seahawks, was the Super Bowl MVP last season after a standout playoff run.
Kansas City missed the playoffs last season for the first time since 2014, but the return of Kelce and the arrival of Walker aim to strengthen the team’s offense.
