Jack Draper will face Novak Djokovic in the last 16 at Indian Wells Open after a strong straight-sets win over Francisco Cerúndolo.
The British number one won 6-1, 7-5 to continue defending his title. Djokovic, the world number three and 24-time Grand Slam champion, reached the same stage after beating Aleksandar Kovacevic in three sets.
Meanwhile, Britain’s Cameron Norrie pulled off an upset by defeating sixth seed Alex de Minaur 6-4, 6-4 to move into the fourth round.
Draper, 24, is still regaining form after returning from an eight-month injury break but said he is happy to be playing again and gradually rebuilding confidence.
