Manchester City midfielder Rodri says his Atletico Madrid past would not stop him from joining Real Madrid, adding that “you can’t turn down the best clubs in the world.”
The 29-year-old, who joined City in 2019, is out of contract next summer and may consider a return to Spain, though he plans to discuss his future with the club first.
Rodri, the 2024 Ballon d’Or winner, has won multiple trophies with City and remains a key player for Spain as he targets a place at the World Cup.
