Morocco have been declared winners of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after CAF overturned their final loss to Senegal.
Senegal had originally won 1-0, but the match was controversial as their players briefly refused to play after Morocco were given a late penalty. Although the game continued and Senegal scored in extra time, CAF later ruled that their actions broke the rules.
As a result, Senegal forfeited the match, and Morocco were awarded a 3-0 win and the AFCON title.
