Tudor says Spurs’ relegation battle is the toughest of his career

Tottenham interim manager Igor Tudor says keeping Spurs from relegation is the toughest job of his career.

Spurs sit 16th in the Premier League with 29 points, only four above the relegation zone, after losing 4-1 at home to rivals Arsenal. Tudor, appointed this month after Thomas Frank’s departure, said saving the club this season is “probably” the biggest challenge of his career.

The Croatian manager, 47, has previously managed teams including Juventus, Lazio, Marseille, Galatasaray, and Udinese. Spurs face a difficult run of fixtures, including trips to Fulham and Wolves, and home games against Crystal Palace, Brighton, Nottingham Forest, and Leeds.

Tudor described the relegation fight as “a question of life or death” for the club, with potential revenue losses estimated at £260m if they drop into the Championship.
