Tottenham sack Frank after just eight months in charge at the Club

Thomas Frank has been sacked by Tottenham after less than eight months in charge following their 2-1 home defeat to Newcastle.

Spurs are currently 16th in the Premier League, just five points above the relegation zone, and are winless in their last eight league games — their worst run since 2008. They have managed only two wins in their past 17 matches, collecting just 12 points in that period.

Frank, who replaced Ange Postecoglou in June and signed a deal until 2028, struggled to improve Tottenham’s league form despite guiding them to the Champions League last 16. Spurs are also out of both domestic cup competitions.

The club said they had supported Frank but felt “a change at this point is necessary” due to poor results.
