South Africa showed they are serious T20 World Cup contenders with a big 76-run win over defending champions India in the Super 8s.
After losing early wickets, David Miller (65 off 35 balls) and Dewald Brevis (45 off 29) helped South Africa recover to post 187-7 in Ahmedabad. Tristan Stubbs added a late unbeaten 44 to boost the total.
India, who had won all four group games, struggled in the chase and were bowled out for 111. Marco Jansen starred with 4-22, while Keshav Maharaj took key wickets to seal the win.
India must now beat Zimbabwe in Chennai to stay in the tournament, while South Africa face West Indies next.
