
Claressa Shields kept her undisputed heavyweight titles after beating Franchon Crews-Dezurn by unanimous decision at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
Shields won 100-90 on all three judges’ scorecards to retain her WBO, WBA, IBF and WBC belts. The 30-year-old remains unbeaten in 18 professional fights.
It was a tough 10-round battle, with Shields praising Crews-Dezurn’s power and toughness. Shields said it was one of the best fights of her career and that she had to stay sharp every round.
