Mohamed Salah scored and assisted as Liverpool beat Brighton & Hove Albion to reach the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Curtis Jones gave Liverpool the lead just before half-time, finishing from Milos Kerkez’s cross. After the break, Salah set up Dominik Szoboszlai for a powerful second goal following a slick team move.
Salah then sealed the win from the penalty spot after being fouled in the box, firing into the top corner for his seventh goal of the season. Brighton had chances through Diego Gomez and Lewis Dunk but failed to convert, continuing their poor run of form.
Teenager Rio Ngumoha thought he had added a fourth late on, but his effort was ruled out for offside, with no VAR in use at this stage of the competition.
