Newcastle Red Bulls head coach Alan Dickens has confirmed he will leave the club at the end of the 2025-26 season. Dickens has been interim head coach since October, after replacing Steve Diamond, and has overseen five wins in 17 matches, with Newcastle currently bottom of The Premiership.
The announcement follows weeks of speculation linking Scotland coach Gregor Townsend with the role, though Dickens played down talk of his successor. He said he remains focused on finishing the season professionally and wished the club and players well for the future.
