Hibernian secured a dramatic stoppage-time win against Dundee United thanks to debutant Ante Suto, who scored a brilliant header. The victory completed a stunning comeback after Dundee United had taken the lead with two goals from corners by Ross Graham and Max Watters, following Martin Boyle’s first-half opener for Hibs.
United briefly looked on course for a strong win, but two free-kicks from Nicky Cadden turned the game around. His first delivery led to Elie Youan’s equaliser after a defensive mix-up, and the second found Suto, who expertly headed home to snatch the win in his first appearance off the bench.
The win ended a three-game winless streak for Hibs and puts them four points behind fourth-place Motherwell in the battle for European football. For Dundee United, it was a harsh blow as they suffered their fourth straight league defeat and fell 11 points behind sixth place in the top-half race.
