Borussia Dortmund secured a comfortable 2-0 win over Atalanta at home in the first leg of their Champions League knockout play-off.
Serhou Guirassy opened the scoring inside three minutes with a header and later assisted Maximilian Beier for the second goal. Despite dominating possession, Atalanta couldn’t trouble goalkeeper Gregor Kobel.
Dortmund take a two-goal advantage to the return leg in Bergamo on 25 February.
