Nottingham Forest edge past Fenerbahce to reach the Europa League last 16.
Forest nervously made it through despite losing control of the game at times. Kerem Akturkoglu scored twice for Fenerbahce, including a penalty, which put Forest’s 3-0 first-leg lead under threat.
Callum Hudson-Odoi scored in the second half to calm fears and help Forest progress 4-2 on aggregate, even though their performance was shaky.
Manager Vitor Pereira said the match felt like a “thriller” and admitted he made changes with the upcoming Premier League game against Brighton in mind. Forest will now face either FC Midtjylland or Real Betis in the next round.
