Vitor Pereira said he told his Nottingham Forest players to “express themselves” before their impressive 3-0 win at Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
In his first match in charge, Forest produced their biggest ever away win in Europe, with goals from Murillo, Igor Jesus and captain Morgan Gibbs-White. Pereira said his side could even have scored more and praised the players for enjoying their football.
Despite sitting just above the relegation zone in the Premier League, Forest now look strong favourites to reach the last 16. They host Fenerbahce in the second leg, with either Midtjylland or Real Betis waiting in the next round.
