England’s Feyi-Waboso faces possible season-ending injury ahead of Six Nations

England wing Immanuel Feyi-Waboso could miss the entire Six Nations after being ruled out of Saturday’s Calcutta Cup clash against Scotland.

The 23-year-old, who started all four of England’s autumn Tests, injured his hamstring in training last week and missed the 48-7 win over Wales. Head coach Steve Borthwick said Feyi-Waboso will see a specialist, but it seems unlikely he will return during the championship.

Borthwick has other wing options, including Tom Roebuck, Henry Arundell, and Tommy Freeman, while Ollie Lawrence returns in the centres and Fin Smith is fit at fly-half. Full-back George Furbank remains sidelined with a calf injury.

England, aiming for their first win in Edinburgh since 2020, are confident after 12 consecutive victories and are focused on imposing their game on Scotland.
