Kylian Mbappe scored late as Real Madrid beat Valencia to move within one point of La Liga leaders Barcelona.
Real Madrid made it seven straight league wins thanks to Mbappe’s 38th goal of the season, which came in stoppage time. Valencia had taken the lead earlier in the second half through Alvaro Carreras, but Madrid kept pushing and eventually found the winner.
Despite missing Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham, Real dominated possession and created several chances before Mbappe’s late strike sealed the victory. The win keeps the title race tight, with Madrid now just one point behind Barcelona.
Valencia remain 17th in the table, only one point above the relegation zone.
