Edinburgh Rugby fought back from an early deficit to claim a crucial bonus-point win over Scarlets in the United Rugby Championship.
Scarlets made a strong start, with Joe Roberts and Sam Lousi scoring tries to give the visitors a 14-point lead. Ben Vellacott pulled one back for Edinburgh before half-time to keep the hosts in the contest.
After the break, Edinburgh turned the game around. Magnus Bradbury powered over to level the scores, and Vellacott grabbed his second try to put the home side ahead for the first time.
Roberts scored again to make it 19-19, but Harry Paterson proved the hero. Shortly after returning from the sin-bin, he charged down a kick, gathered the loose ball and crossed for the decisive try.
The bonus-point victory lifts Edinburgh to 11th in the table as they chase a top-eight play-off spot, while Scarlets remain 15th.
