Campbell Hatton will return to the ring on 11 April in Dubai, fighting on an event held in memory of his late father, boxing legend Ricky Hatton. Ricky, a former two-weight world champion, died last September at the age of 46.
The event was originally set to be headlined by Ricky Hatton himself, who had planned a comeback fight. Instead, his son Campbell, 25, will fight for the first time since retiring in 2024 after two straight losses.
Ricky’s niece and nephew, Jack and Lola Hatton, will also compete on the night as they continue their amateur boxing careers. Former world champion Kell Brook will headline the event in tribute to Ricky Hatton.
The fight night will support the newly formed Ricky Hatton Foundation and aims to honour the life and legacy of the former world champion.
