
Wrexham caused a big FA Cup upset by knocking out Premier League side Nottingham Forest on penalties to reach the fourth round. The match finished level after extra time, before goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo saved two spot-kicks to seal a 4-3 shootout win at the Stok Cae Ras.
Goals from Liberato Cacace, Ollie Rathbone, and Dom Hyam kept Wrexham in the game, while Callum Hudson-Odoi scored twice for Forest to force extra time. Backed by co-owner Ryan Reynolds, Phil Parkinson’s side showed great fight to claim a famous victory and continue their impressive cup run.
