New Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior watched from the stands as Harry Wilson scored a late winner to hand Fulhama derby victory over Chelsea at Craven Cottage.
Rosenior was not yet in charge, but his first look at the team got worse when Marc Cucurella was sent off early, leaving Chelsea with 10 men. Fulham took the lead through Raul Jimenez’s header, before Liam Delap equalised from close range.
With nine minutes left, Wilson beat his marker and fired past Robert Sanchez to seal the win. Chelsea, led by caretaker Calum McFarlane, struggled after the red card and suffered their eighth dismissal of the season.
The loss drops Chelsea to seventh in the Premier League, while Fulham move level on points with them.
