West Ham have signed Brazilian striker Pablo Felipe from Portuguese side Gil Vicente on a four-and-a-half-year deal.
The 22-year-old forward, who has scored 10 goals in 13 Primeira Liga games this season, joins for a reported €25m (£21.8m), becoming the first signing under manager Nuno Espirito Santo. Felipe will be available for Saturday’s Premier League trip to Wolves.
“I will give my all for this club,” said Felipe. “I want to prove my worth and leave everything on the pitch.”
West Ham are currently 18th in the Premier League, four points from safety, and hope Felipe can boost their goalscoring.
