West Ham discuss ending Wilson’s contract

0

West Ham are in talks with striker Callum Wilson about ending his contract early. The 33-year-old joined the club on a free transfer in the summer and has scored four goals in 18 appearances.

However, Wilson’s chances of regular first-team football have reduced following the arrival of new forwards Pablo Felipe and Taty Castellanos. Wilson wants to keep playing regularly and is not keen on a limited role.

Talks are now close to being finalised to terminate the final six months of his contract. West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo confirmed discussions have taken place, saying both sides have been honest about Wilson’s changed role at the club.
