Striker Jorgen Strand Larsen ended his 13-game goal drought with a hat-trick as Wolves crushed League Two Shrewsbury 6-1 to reach the FA Cup fourth round.
Jhon Arias scored before Shrewsbury briefly got hope with a penalty from John Marquis, but Rodrigo Gomes and Tolu Arokodare added late goals to complete the thrashing.
The win marks four games unbeaten for Rob Edwards’ Wolves, who are struggling at the bottom of the Premier League. Strand Larsen, who Wolves may sell this month, opened the scoring early, added a second after a goalkeeper error, and completed his hat-trick in the second half.
