World number one Aryna Sabalenka reached the Brisbane International final for the third straight year after a dominant win over Karolina Muchova.
Sabalenka won 6-3 6-4, overpowering the Czech player to set up a final against Marta Kostyuk. The Belarusian is using the tournament to prepare for the Australian Open, where she is chasing a third title in four years.
Muchova, who had beaten Sabalenka in their last three meetings, struggled to cope with Sabalenka’s power as the world number one continued her strong form. The final will be played on Sunday.
