Rangers cruised to a comfortable win over a disjointed and managerless Aberdeen to move just three points behind Scottish Premiership leaders Hearts and leap above Celtic.
Emmanuel Fernandez opened the scoring from a corner in the 11th minute, and Nicolas Raskin added a second before half-time, also from a set piece. Rangers were efficient, while Aberdeen struggled following the recent sacking of Jimmy Thelin.
Despite a few chances on the break, Aberdeen couldn’t score, and Rangers maintained control in the second half. The win keeps Rangers in the title race, while Aberdeen remain eighth in the table.
