Danny Rohl is excited about Rangers’ role as the “hunter” in the Scottish Premiership title race after a strong 3-0 win over Dundee, which cut Hearts’ lead at the top to four points. Celtic’s draw also helped Rangers move into secondplace.
Rohl called it “a big, big win”, marking the team’s eighth straight victory in all competitions and sixth in the league. He’s also looking at new signings in the final week of the transfer window to keep the momentum going.
Captain James Tavernier opened the scoring with his 100th league goal from a penalty, and Danilo and Djeidi Gassamaadded late goals. Rohl praised the team’s effort and energy, saying the win sends “a statement” that Rangers are still the hunters in the title race.
He added, “We want to hunt, win our games, and take the opportunity over the next 15 matches. It’s hard work, but if you keep hunting, you can be successful.”
