Qarabag scored a dramatic stoppage-time winner to knock Eintracht Frankfurt out of the Champions League play-offs while keeping their own hopes alive.
Behlul Mustafazade became the first Azerbaijani player to score in the competition with the very last kick of a chaotic game. Qarabag now sit 18th with 10 points, nearly securing a play-off spot, while Eintracht Frankfurt are eliminated with just four points from seven games.
Frankfurt, who had recently sacked head coach Dino Toppmoller, fell behind early when Camilo Duran scored inside four minutes. They fought back through Can Uzun and a second-half penalty from Fares Chaibi, but Qarabag hit back again, with Duran scoring a second before Mustafazade sealed the win.
The result eases pressure on Qarabag ahead of their trip to Liverpool on 28 January.
