Celtic manager Wilfried Nancy has strongly defended his approach and says he needs time to succeed at the club after a difficult start.
The French coach has lost five of his first seven games since taking charge in December, increasing pressure ahead of the Old Firm clash against Rangers. Despite criticism from fans, Nancy insists the board, players and club are backing him.
He says his situation must be judged in context, pointing out he has had very limited training time and no proper pre-season. Nancy admits results have not been good enough but believes performances are improving and asks to be judged in the coming weeks and months, not now.
Nancy says he is fully committed to Celtic, wants to win titles, and is ready to give everything to build a successful legacy at the club.
