Thomas Frank says he understands why Tottenham fans are unhappy and admits he feels the same frustration after Spurs were booed following a 0-0 draw with Brentford.
Frank was warmly welcomed by Brentford fans on his return to their stadium, but Tottenham supporters were unhappy with the dull performance and result. Spurs are now 12th in the Premier League, with only two wins in their last 10 games.
The Spurs boss said fans will support the team when results improve and stressed that many supporters are still backing him. He accepted the criticism and said it is fair given the current form.
Frank replaced Ange Postecoglou in the summer and says there are signs of progress, especially in defence, with Spurs keeping more clean sheets this season. However, he admitted the team still needs to improve going forward.
Injuries to key players like James Maddison, Dominic Solanke and Dejan Kulusevski have made things harder, but Frank remains positive and believes Spurs are building towards better performances as they continue their transition.
